Soul singer Charles Bradley just released a new album entitled Changes through Daptone/Dunham Records. The veteran performer was the subject of a profile on yesterday’s episode of CBS This Morning and he also performed several songs as part of the program’s Saturday Sessions series.
Speaking with interviewer Anthony Mason, the 67-year-old Bradley recalls the long road that preceded being noticed by Daptone Records, who released his debut album just five years ago. In addition to the profile, The Screaming Eagle Of Soul also performed with His Extraordinaires backing band two songs that appear on Changes and one from his 2011 debut album No Time for Dreaming live at CBS studios. Below watch the profile on Bradley, followed by his performance of “Ain’t It A Sin,” “The World (Is Going Up in Flames)” and the new album’s title track, a cover of Black Sabbath’s “Changes.”
