Chappell Roan canceled her appearances at this weekend’s All Things Go festivals in New York City and Washington D.C. Roan cited the need to “prioritize [her] health” as the impetus for the decision.
“I apologize to people who have been waiting to see me in NYC & DC this weekend at All Things Go, but I am unable to perform,” Roan wrote on Instagram. “Things have gotten overwhelming over the past few weeks and I am really feeling it.
“I feel pressures to prioritize a lot of things right now and I need a few days to prioritize my health,” the singer continued. “I want to be present when I perform and give the best shows possible. Thank you for understanding.”

The flagship All Things Go will be held at Merriweather Post Pavilion outside Washington D.C. this Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29. All Things Go NYC makes its debut those same dates at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens.
“We support you Chappell Roan ❤️,” wrote the All Things Go team in a social media post sharing Roan’s IG story. “All Things Go strongly supports artists prioritizing their well-being and we ask our community to rally around Chappell Roan with love and understanding,” added the festival’s team. “Let’s continue to show the world that music fans support not just the art, but the artists themselves.”

Chappell Roan is having a tough time dealing with the changes to her life that come with massive success. Roan recently found herself in hot water for initially deciding not to endorse a presidential candidate. She posted a follow-up video on TikTok this past Wednesday in which she stated, “yeah, I’m voting for fucking Kamala,” and added “fuck Trump, for fucking real,” but shared outrage towards the Democratic party.
Roan said “there is no way I can stand behind some of the left’s completely transphobic and completely genocidal views. So yeah, there are huge problems on both. You know what is right and wrong and so do I. Fuck Trump for fucking real, but fuck some of the shit that has gone down in the Democratic party that has failed people like me and you — and, more so, Palestine, and more so, every marginalized community in the world.”
The singer added, “I’m not gonna settle for what the options are that are in front of me, and you are not gonna make me feel bad for that. So yeah, I’m voting for fucking Kamala.” The pop star has also been dealing with stalker fans and was aiming to “pump the brakes” on getting more exposure.
All Things Go will move forward sans Chappell Roan this weekend. Check out both lineups below:
