Morrissey & Patti Smith Headline CBGB Festival 2026

CBGB Festival returns for its second year on September 26, 2026, at Under The K Bridge Park in Brooklyn, New York. Morrissey, Patti Smith and Interpol headline the celebration of NYC’s underground legacy.

The lineup also includes Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, Bikini Kill, Circle Jerks, Buzzcocks, Agnostic Front, Mannequin Pussy, Militarie Gun, High Vis, Bad Nerves, Violet Grohl, Upchuck, Panic Shack, Haywire and Fred Armisen’s Ramones tribute band The Return of Jackie & Judy.

Hilly Kristal opened CBGB in 1973 at 315 Bowery in New York City’s East Village. The venue hosted a who’s who of iconic punk and new wave bands. Patti Smith performed the last concert at CBGB on October 16, 2006.

“Building on last year’s CBGB Festival, we’ve worked hard to create an even stronger experience for fans this year,” explained CBGB’s Phil Sandhaus. “For decades, CBGB defined the punk scene and helped shape a generation of music lovers in New York and beyond. This year’s lineup honors that legacy while celebrating the past, present, and future of punk and alternative music.”
