The Cat Empire Sets Biggest North American Tour In Nearly 2 Decades For 2025
The Australian band will perform 23 shows across the U.S. and Canada in June and July.

The Cat Empire announced a North American tour spanning June and July 2025 in support of their forthcoming studio album, Bird In Paradise. The Australian band mapped out 23 dates across the United States and Canada.
Bird In Paradise, the follow-up to 2023’s Where The Angels Fall is due out on March 7, 2025 via BMG Australia. “When we set out to make the album Bird in Paradise, we wanted to make a more musically rich album than we had before, which featured the band instrumentally like never before,” stated keyboardist/vocalist Ollie McGill.

The Cat Empire’s most extensive North American tour in almost 20 years begins in Atlanta on June 2 followed by Nashville on June 3. Next comes New Orleans on June 5, Austin on June 6 and Dallas on June 7. West Coast dates include Solana Beach (California) on June 10, Los Angeles on June 11 and San Francisco on June 12. The band then heads to Vancouver for two nights at the Commodore Ballroom on June 14 and 15.
The tour continues in Seattle on June 17, Boise on June 18 and Salt Lake City on June 20. A performance in Bellvue (Colorado) follows on June 21. The band then visits Des Moines on June 23 and Minneapolis on June 24.
Additional dates include Oshkosh (Wisconsin) on June 26, Chicago on June 27 and Kalamazoo (Michigan) on June 29. The month concludes in Toronto on June 30. July brings the band to Montreal on July 2, Cambridge (Massachusetts) on July 8 and New York City on July 9. More North American dates are forthcoming.
The Cat Empire tickets go on sale this Thursday, December 5 at 12 p.m. ET.
