Earlier this month Cass McCombs issued his ninth full-length studio effort Tip Of The Sphere via ANTI- Records. The singer-songwriter has now shared the video for the LP’s lead single “Sleeping Volcanoes.”

““Sleeping Volcanoes” is about people passing each other on the sidewalk unaware of the emotional volatility they are brushing past, like a sleeping volcano that could erupt at any moment,” McCombs shared about the song. The video takes its visual cues from that statement. Shot on location in San Francisco’s Financial and Tenderloin neighborhoods as well as in the forests of Marin County, the clip features dancers destroying Tahiti Pehrson’s contemporary art piece The Rising Body.
