Mandolin Orange, The Lil Smokies, Bonfire Dub, Tierro With Bridget Law, Grant Farm and Grantful Dead Revue featuring Rob Eaton of Dark Star Orchestra are some of the acts set to play this year’s festival. “Campout was never about any one band or person. The goal has always been to create a family of artists and fans who can come together in a comfortable setting to let the true artistic moments happen. We never book talent for one show, one time slot, we book acts that want to play and participate in the entire experience of a gathering. This is our time to give back, and the charity is closer to our heart than ever” said founder Scotty Stoughton in a statement.
Tickets are on sale now via the festival’s website. Campout is dedicating profits to a local grassroots fund, Emmy’s Friends. The fund was created in 2017 to benefit Emery Welle, a 2-year-old from Red Cliff, Colorado who was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood cancer. Emery continues to fight this disease and proceeds from the event will aid her in that fight. In addition, a portion of proceeds will go towards a Buena Vista local non-profit, South Main Arts & Park Trust.
