Yesterday, Bruce Springsteen was the guest on NPR’s long running interview series Fresh Air. The Boss spoke with host Terry Gross last week from his home studio in New Jersey.

Springsteen was on to promote his just issued first book – a 500-page memoir entitled Born To Run – and a companion album Chapter & Verse featuring a career-spanning collection of recordings. The interview focuses on many topics also touched upon in the book, including Bruce’s battle with depression, his relationship with his father, the influence of Catholicism, dealing with physical medical issues and much more.
