The Brothers Comatose & Con Brio Take It Back To The ‘90s With ‘Flagpole Sitta’ Cover

The Brothers Comatose teamed up with Con Brio for a cover of the 1998 hit “Flagpole Sitta” by Harvey Danger. The cover arrived along with an in-studio music video.
“Flagpole Sitta” appears on Seattle-born band Harvey Danger’s 1997 album Where Have All the Merrymakers Gone? The song achieved hit status as a single in 1998. The catchy tune marked the height of the band’s success, with Harvey Danger going on hiatus in 2001 and disbanding in 2009 after reuniting in 2005.
The Brothers Comatose/Con Brio version carries the song’s catchiness but ups the ante with the Con Brio horns and a characteristically killer vocal performance from Con Brio frontwoman Sarah Clarke. Watch the Bay Area bands perform “Flagpole Sitta” below:
