Canadian collective Broken Social Scene will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 2002 studio album You Forgot It In People with a tour of North America this fall. The group will go coast-to-coast for 18 tour dates between September 23 and October 16.

“[Twenty] years ago we released You Forgot It In People, an album that changed our lives, and maybe yours, too,” wrote the band in a tweet announcing the trek. “To celebrate, we’re heading out on tour to play tracks from that album and more of your favourites.”

Broken Social Scene launches the tour in Vancouver on September 23 with its only Canadian date. A play in Seattle on September 24 comes ahead of a two-night stand in Portland, Oregon on September 26 and 27. BSS then hits California for concerts in Sonoma on September 29, Oakland on September 30 and Dana Point (Ohana Festival) on October 2.

Next, the group heads to the Midwest via Santa Fe (October 4) and Denver (October 5) for shows in Iowa City (October 7), St. Paul (October 8) and Chicago (October 9 and 10). Broken Social Scene ends the tour in the Northeast with one night in Philadelphia (October 12) and two-night stands in Washington D.C. (October 13 and 14) and New York City (October 15 and 16).
