Brittany Howard Announces Spring Tour 2020

Brittany Howard announced spring 2020 tour dates. The Alabama Shakes frontwoman is touring in support of her recently issued debut solo album, Jaime.
Howard and her band will start the tour with three shows in California, beginning March 17 in Santa Rosa, followed by March 18 in Santa Barbara and March 20 in Anaheim. Howard heads to Phoenix on March 21 and Albuquerque on March 22. The tour then treks to Texas for shows in San Antonio (March 24), Dallas (March 26), Austin (March 27) and Houston (March 28).
After a few weeks off, the tour resumes on April 17 in Charlottesville, Virginia. Howard then makes stops in Charlotte, North Carolina (April 18) and at the Highwater Music Festival in North Charleston, South Carolina (April 19). Three shows in Florida follow — St. Petersburg (April 21), Orlando (April 22) and Jacksonville (April 23). A final show is slated in Birmingham in Howard’s home state of Alabama on April 28.

Howard recently stopped by Southern California public radio station 88.5 FM to record a live session. The solo performance yielded live takes on the Jaime tracks “Short And Sweet” and “Stay High.” Watch clips from the session below:
