Brandon ‘Taz’ Niederauer & Marcus King Join Eric Krasno Band In Brooklyn

Last night, Eric Krasno performed with his Eric Krasno Band at an album release party at Brooklyn Bowl to celebrate today’s official release of the frontman’s new solo album Blood From A Stone. During the show that doubled as the venue’s seventh anniversary celebration, the recently debuted ensemble was joined by a number of guests, including the current star of the Broadway musical School Of Rock, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, as well as Marcus King whose band also served as openers.

Boasting a lineup of keyboardist DeShawn Alexander, bassist Alex Chakour, backing vocalist Mary Corso, drummer Eric Kalb and rhythm guitarist Danny Mayer, the Eric Krasno Band offered several songs from the new record, including “Unconditional Love” which was augmented by a sit-in from Nigel Hall. The performance also saw guitarist Marcus King return to the stage to join Krasno for a take on B.B. King’s “Sweet Little Angel.” The show closed with Kraz and Taz dueling on an extended rendition of Jimi Hendrix’s “Manic Depression.”
