At age 22, acclaimed guitarist Brandon “Taz” Niederauer has accomplished so much from sharing the stage with a who’s who of legendary musicians to starring on Broadway’s School of Rock the Musical for over two years to his recent graduation from Yale University. Now, Niederauer turns the spotlight on his original music with the release of “Say Something,” his debut single under the TAZ banner.

Produced by Grammy-winner Theron “Neff-U” Feemster (Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, Kendrick Lamar, Train, Michael Jackson), “Say Something” is laced with elements of pop, rock, soul and R&B. Taz still lives up to his nickname by infusing a ferocious electric guitar lick underneath his vocals.

“‘Say Something’ is an energetic song about the anxious moments before and after a fight with a loved one,” explained TAZ. “With this release, I’m launching my career as an artist; I couldn’t be more excited to finally introduce my sound to the world.”

More new music is on the way from Niederauer. TAZ will celebrate the release of “Say Something” and perform other new material as part of a special show at New York’s Mercury Lounge on Thursday, August 14.
