boygenius performed at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York on June 17. CBS Mornings’ Saturday Sessions shared a trio of live videos from the concerts of songs off the supergroup’s debut album, The Record, as the music program’s milestone 500th show.
The Record is the follow up to boygenius’ — Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus — 2018 self-titled debut EP. The band’s new album arrived earlier this year on March 31.
boygenius’ Saturday Session from Forest Hills included the Julien Baker-penned “$20.” The band also offered the LP’s collaborative efforts “Not Strong Enough” and “Cool About It.”
