Boston Red Sox Announce Phish Night
Major League Baseball team the Boston Red Sox will host a Phish Night at Fenway Park. The first 1,500 who purchase tickets via the offer here for the Red Sox’s June 24 game against the Chicago White Sox will receive a limited-edition pennant designed by Phish to celebrate the night.
Phish Night comes ahead of the jam quartet’s return to Fenway Park for concerts on July 5 and 6. The band’s last appearance at the famed ballpark took place in 2009. Pardon Me, Doug will play “a jammed out set” of Phish songs on Jersey Street before the game. Fenway Park organist Josh Kantor has been known to perform portions of Phish songs at the ballpark and contributed to the video announcement of the four-piece’s Fenway debut featuring an interpretation of “Tweezer Reprise.” Watch that clip below:
