Foo Fighters, The Lumineers and Paramore headline the 2023 Boston Calling lineup. The three-day music festival will take place over Memorial Day Weekend, May 26 – 28 at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, Massachusetts.
The Boston Calling lineup announcement marks the first performance confirmed for Foo Fighters following the tragic death of drummer Taylor Hawkins. Foo Fighters were supposed to headline Boston Calling in 2020, 2021 and 2022. The 2020 and 2021 installments were canceled due to the pandemic, while the band pulled out of last year’s festival in the wake of Hawkins’ passing. Foo Fighters revealed their decision to carry on in a note shared with fans on New Year’s Eve.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The National, Niall Horan, Chelsea Cutler and Teddy Swims are among the acts joining Foo Fighters in performing at Boston Calling on Friday, May 26. The Lumineers, Alanis Morissette, Noah Kahan, The Flaming Lips, Mt. Joy and Joy Oladokun top the bill for Saturday, May 27.
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are now slated to kick off a visit to North America that includes residencies at U.S. venues by performing at Boston Calling on Sunday, May 28. Paramore, Queens Of The Stone Age, Bleachers, Maren Morris, 070 Shake, The Walkmen and The Linda Lindas are just a few of the additional artists slated to play the final day of this year’s festival.
All told, over 50 performers, with 20 having ties to the Boston area, are featured on the 2023 Boston Calling lineup. 3-Day General Admission, GA+, VIP and Platinum tickets as well as Single-Day GA, GA+, VIP and Platinum tickets go on sale this Thursday, January 12 at 10 a.m. ET.
