U2’s Bono Details Book Tour
Tickets for the Stories Of Surrender Tour go on sale Friday, October 7.
U2 frontman Bono announced a book tour around his forthcoming memoir, Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story, set for publication on November 1. The Stories Of Surrender tour will begin the day after the book arrives, hitting theatres throughout North America, the UK and Europe.
Bono’s book tour gets underway on November 2 at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. Additional North American stops include Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Nashville, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Bono then brings Stories Of Surrender to the UK beginning in London on November 16 ahead of engagements in Glasgow and Manchester. Bono returns to his hometown of Dublin on November 21 followed by European stops in Berlin and Paris. The book tour wraps on November 28 in Madrid.
“I miss being on stage and the closeness of U2’s audience. In these shows I’ve got some stories to sing, and some songs to tell,” Bono said of the book tour. “Plus I want to have some fun presenting my ME-moir, Surrender, which is really more of a WE-moir if I think of all the people who helped me get from there to here.”
Tickets for the Stories Of Surrender Tour go on sale Friday, October 7 at 10 a.m. local venue time. Those who purchase tickets will receive a copy of the book. Purchase Bono’s Stories Of Surrender tickets via Ticketmaster.
