Bonnaroo Announces 2017 SuperJam Themes & Lineups

The 2017 installment of Bonnaroo will be held on The Farm in Manchester, Tennessee June 8 – 11. One tradition of the event are the SuperJams it hosts and today organizers have revealed the lineups for this year’s SuperJams.
One of the SuperJams is dubbed “Preservation Hall Presents: The Soul Shakedown.” Legendary New Orleans band Preservation Hall Jazz Band will be joined by singer/multi-instrumentalist/Late Show With Stephen Colbert bandleader Jon Batiste as well as roster that includes Sam Cohen, George Porter, Jr., Lecrae, Margo Price, Tank and the Bangas, Lukas Nelson, Nicole Atkins, Flint Eastwood, members of The Head and The Heart and more.
The other SuperJam is The Bluegrass Situation Roots SuperJam hosted by Ed Helms & Friends. Helms will be backed by the Bryan Sutton Band and joined by such stars as Martina McBride, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Greensky Bluegrass, Mandolin Orange, River Whyless, Gaby Moreno, Baskery and Lillie Mae. Look for additional special guests, both announced and unannounced, to take the stage during both SuperJam events.
U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weeknd, Chance The Rapper and Major Lazer are just a few of the acts set to perform at Bonnaroo ’17. Tickets are available via the festival’s website.
