Bonnaroo Adds A Second Umphrey’s McGee Performance To 2017 Schedule

While jam stalwarts Umphrey’s McGee were already aboard to play a Sunday afternoon set at this year’s Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee that won’t be their only performance at the festival. Bonnaroo organizers have just revealed UM will also treat attendees to a late night set in That Tent on Saturday night between 1:30 and 3 a.m.
Umphrey’s McGee made their Bonnaroo debut at the inaugural event in 2002. The band returned in 2004 – 2006 and then again in 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014. The band’s second set replaces a previously scheduled one from Shpongle as Simon Posford is dealing with visa issues that will prevent him from performing.
U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weeknd, Chance The Rapper, Major Lazer, Big Gigantic and Portugal. The Man are just a few of the dozens of acts expected to perform at Bonnaroo 2017 in Manchester, Tennessee between June 8 – 11. Tickets are available via the festival’s website.
