Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros Postpone Symphonic Shows At Wolf Trap

Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros featuring The Wolfpack‘s symphonic concerts with the National Symphony Orchestra at Wolf Trap in Vienna, Virginia will not take place on August 28 and 29 as previously announced. The shows have been postponed with no reason cited and confirmation of the new dates forthcoming.

“The Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros featuring The Wolfpack with the National Symphony Orchestra performances on August 28 & 29 at Wolf Trap have been postponed,” noted the venue on Facebook. “Stay tuned for rescheduled dates and on sale information.”

The Wolf Trap shows were the only Wolf Bros dates on the books for Weir. The Grateful Dead guitarist will perform at New York City’s Apollo Theatre on Thursday, March 28 as part of the Jazz Foundation Of America’s “A Great Night in Harlem” Gala. Sun Ra Arkestra, a Max Roach Centennial Tribute featuring Charles Tolliver, Dee Dee Bridgewater, George Cables, Billy Harper and Rufus Reid and The Titans of Jazz Drums are among the other acts on the lineup.

Bob Weir will then reunite with Dead & Company for what currently stands as a 24-show residency at the Las Vegas Sphere. Dead & Co. will play a series of eight three-night runs spanning May 16 through July 13.
