Deitch, the father of Lettuce drummer Adam Deitch, discussed the new song in a statement:

Most everyone knows someone who spends their time complaining about something whether it be weather, work, relatives, a friend etc. People sabotage their own lives. You’ve got to realize that life is a gift and goes by so quickly, so why spend time complaining about things? It only results in negativity. Take notice that there is so much beauty in the world and find a way to make the best of life, concentrating on the beautiful things. Complaining gets you nowhere, so if the situation is not the way you would like it to be, do your best to change it and move on.
