Watch Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros Team With Goose Members For Interstellar ‘The Other One’

Bob Weir released pro-shot video via Relix of a guest-filled “The Other One.” The performance featuring members of Goose and more came on February 11 during the final night of Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros’ recent four-show stand at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York.

“The Other One” is a Grateful Dead psychedelic classic and one of Weir’s signature songs, appearing as Part III — “The Faster We Go, The Rounder We Get” — (a Weir co-write with Ron “Pigpen” McKernan) of the “That’s It For The Other One” suite on the epic first side of the Dead’s semi-live, 1968 album, Anthem Of The Sun.

For “The Other One” at The Cap last Saturday, Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros welcomed Goose guitarist Rick Mitarotonda and keyboardist Peter Anspach as well as Bobby’s former Ratdog bandmate Kenny Brooks on saxophone, who joined The Wolf Pack horn and string section. Flowing out of “Franklin’s Tower,” the ensemble really went out on the 10-minute “Other One.”
