The 2017 Lockn’ Festival will take place at Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, Virginia between August 24 – 27. Festival organizers promised lineup additions would be revealed this week and so far there’s been an announcement each day including today. On Monday, a batch of acts were added to the lineup. On Tuesday, came word John Fogerty would return to Lockn’, while yesterday the Disco Biscuits’ Lockn’ debut was confirmed. Today’s revelation is a big one as Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir will join Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band for a set honoring the 40th anniversary of Terrapin Station.

Weir will perform the full Terrapin Station album with Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band at Lockn’. Bob Weir joins a lineup that already includes Gov’t Mule, The Avett Brothers, Umphrey’s McGee, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, moe., The String Cheese Incident, Greensky Bluegrass and many others. Monday’s lineup additions were Antibalas, Blackberry Smoke, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Hiss Golden Messenger, Moonalice, The Record Company and Sinkane.

“Having Bobby and Phil perform Terrapin Station together is one of those moments that we created Lockn’ for,” festival promoter Peter Shapiro told Rolling Stone. “I’m hoping it’s a musical experience that Deadheads will be able to lose themselves into and then live on as a live recording that will create lasting magic for a long time after.”

Tickets are available via the festival’s website.
