Guitarist Bob Weir (Grateful Dead/Dead & Company), bassist Dave Schools (Widespread Panic), keyboardist Jeff Chimenti (Dead & Company) and drummer Jay Lane () formed a group called The Lame Ducks for a performance that was part of the “Georgia Comes Alive” one-day virtual festival. Pro-shot video of the 28-minute set is available below.

The Lame Ducks were among over 50 participants in “Georgia Comes Alive,” which was organized by Live For Live Music and HeadCount. The three-song set consisted of classic Grateful Dead material, kicking off with Weir leading the collective through “Truckin’.” The quartet then segued into Weir’s “The Other One,” which was followed by Bobby’s “Throwing Stones.”
