Bob Weir Adds Tour Closer In Chicago

Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir is gearing up for the September 30th release of his Blue Mountain studio album and an accompanying “Campfire Tour” set for October. An additional date has been added to the tour, which will now end in Chicago.

Bob Weir will bring the Campfire Tour to The Chicago Theatre on October 20. His band for at least a portion of the evening will include Josh Kaufman, Aaron Dessner, Scott Devendorf and Bryan Devendorf. The tour is expected to feature a mix of songs from Bobby’s time with the Grateful Dead as well as tracks recorded for Blue Mountain.

Tickets for Weir’s visit to the Windy City go on sale to the general public Friday, September 9 at 10 a.m. CT.
