Bob Dylan continues to preview his upcoming live box set, The Complete Budokan 1978, with “I Want You.” The collection, due out on November 17 via Columbia Records/Legacy Recordings, celebrates the 45th anniversary of Dylan’s premiere performances in Japan at Tokyo’s historic Nippon Budokan Hall.
Bob Dylan’s shows at the Budokan in ‘78 were his first international concerts since his infamous 1966 World Tour. The Complete Budokan 1978 contains 58 total tracks, 36 of which are previously unreleased. News of the box set arrived in September along with a previously unreleased live rendition of “The Man In Me.” The “I Want You” performance appeared on the orginal 1978/79 live album Bob Dylan At Budokan.
