Blood Orange (Devonté Hynes) unveiled a sprawling single entitled “The Field.” The track is Hynes’ first new music using the Blood Orange moniker in three years.
Produced and written by Hynes, “The Field” features contributions from The Durutti Column, Tariq Al-Sabir, Daniel Cesar and longtime Blood Orange collaborators Caroline Polachek and Eva Tolkin. Dev Hynes also directed the video that accompanied his new song.

A press release for “The Field” hinted at more Blood Orange music to come. This fall, Hynes will mix festival appearances with performances supporting Lorde.
