Blitzen Trapper Delivers Gems From 1st Album In 4 Years ‘Live On KEXP’

See the alt-country outfit perform “So Divine,” “Ain’t Got Time To Fight” and more.

Pacific Northwest alt-country outfit Blitzen Trapper hit KEXP’s Seattle studios in August. The band performed songs from their 2024 album 100's of 1000's, Millions of Billions.

100’s of 1000’s, Millions of Billions arrived on May 17 through Yep Roc. The record marked the band’s first studio album since 2020’s Holy Smokes Future Jokes. The band’s latest LP was produced by primary singer-songwriter Eric Earley and recorded at guitarist Nathan Vanderpool’s rural Washington State studio.

Earley and Vanderpool, along with bassist/keyboardist Michael Elson and drummer Brain Adrian Koch, brought four tracks from 100’s of 1000’s, Millions of Billions to KEXP back in August. The quartet kicked off the session with “So Divine.”
