Watch Bleachers Take ‘The Van’ For Nostalgic Ride On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Bleachers headed to Hollywood on Monday to perform “The Van” from their forthcoming album, everyone for ten minutes, on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Jack Antonoff and company also extended their upcoming BLEACHERS FOREVER tour with three new dates.

everyone for ten minutes, Bleachers’ fifth studio album, is set for release on May 22. “The Van” marks the latest of three advanced singles from the 11-track follow-up to the band’s 2024 self-titled record shared so far.

The infectious ‘The Van’ mixes elements of soul, rock and pop into one tidy package. Antonoff played harmonica at the beginning of the Kimmel performance before singing the song with harmonies from his bandmates.

The lyrics find Antonoff reminicing about growing up in New Jersey as he makes pitstops at Wawa and remembers how those in the state don’t have to pump their own gas. He also details his early days as a musician and career ambitions while multiple saxophones swirl.

The first of three new dates is set for May 23, when Bleachers head home to Asbury Park, New Jersey for their eighth annual Shadow Of The City multi-band event at The Stone Pony Summer Stage. Real Estate, Toadies, Grace Ives, Annie DiRusso and Bike Routes round out the lineup. Concerts in Cleveland on June 19 and Waukee (Iowa) on September 25 have also been added to the BLEACHERS FOREVER tour.

Following a presale on Thursday, April 23 at 10 a.m. local time, tickets for the new dates go on sale to the public on Friday, April 24. Tickets for other BLEACHERS FOREVER tour dates are on sale now.
