Bleachers Cancels BottleRock Napa Set Due To COVID-19
A member of the band led by Jack Antonoff tested positive for COVID-19.
The BottleRock Napa festival will be without one of its biggest acts as it wraps up today. Bleachers pulled out of the three-day festival held at Napa Valley Expo in downtown Napa, California after a “positive covid test in (the) band.”
“hey bottlerock people – it’s a huge bummer to announce that we have to pull out of tomorrow’s show due to a positive covid test in our band,” wrote the group led by Jack Antonoff in a statement on social media. “this sucks and is one of the risks of touring during these times, but the tour will go on and we’ll pick back up in london! stay safe!”
Metallica, Iration, Skip Marley, CHVRCHES, Greta Van Fleet and Spoon were among the acts that performed at BottleRock on Friday. Saturday acts included Twenty One Pilots, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Greensky Bluegrass and Yola. The festival ends later today with performances from P!NK, Luke Combs, Pitbull, Michael Franti, The Wailers, Amos Lee and more.
