Blackberry Smoke Postpones Port Chester & Clifton Park Shows

By Scott Bernstein May 18, 2018 12:51 pm PDT

Blackberry Smoke was scheduled to play The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York tonight (Friday, May 18) and Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park, New York tomorrow (Saturday, May 19). A family emergency had led the quintet to postpone both shows until December.

The group issued a note explaining their decision. “As you know, we take not being able to perform a show very seriously. We would never consider doing it unless the consequences truly warrant that decision. In this case there is unfortunately a family emergency,” reads a portion of the post from Blackberry Smoke. The five-piece will now play The Capitol Theatre on December 7 and the Upstate Concert Hall on December 8. Refunds are available and all tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates.
