Black Pumas Announce Livestream Event From Secret Location

Black Pumas will celebrate the one-year anniversary of the release of their self-titled debut studio album with a free livestreamed performance. The special streaming event will begin at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Sunday, June 21 via the band’s Facebook, Twitch and YouTube pages as well as on the JamBase Livestreams Calendar.

Margin Walker Presents is putting on the event, which will originate from a secret location, in partnership with the Black Pumas and Texas Lottery. Black Pumas consists of vocalist Eric Burton and guitarist/producer Adrian Quesada and scored a nomination for Best New Artist at January’s Grammys based in part on the commercial and critical success of their 10-track debut LP. “Stay tuned for some surprises, and exciting updates, and a chance to win a special VIP upgrade that unlocks bonus performance footage and more,” reads a note on the livestream’s Facebook event page.
