The Black Keys will not proceed with a planned U.S. summer tour due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. The tour was coming in support of Let’s Rock, a studio album The Black Keys released last June.
“We are very disappointed to let you know the US ‘Let’s Rock’ Summer tour is no longer happening,” noted the band in a statement. “We were looking forward to seeing you all out there, but the health and safety of our fans and crew has to take priority. We hope to see you all soon. Please stay safe!”
Ticketholders will be emailed with information on refunds or can view Live Nation’s Ticket Refund Plan here. The tour was originally scheduled to span July 7 – September 6. Gary Clark Jr., The Marcus King Band and Yola were among the opening acts.
