The Black Crowes’ Chris & Rich Robinson Perform ‘Welcome To The Goodtimes’ In Nashville

Chris Robinson and Rich Robinson performed The Black Crowes chestnut “Welcome To The Goodtimes” together for the first time since 2013 last night. The song came as part of the pair’s Brothers Of A Feather tour stop at The Basement East in Nashville on Wednesday night.

The Brothers Robinson kicked off their show in Nashville with “Jealous Again” and then played “Hotel Illness,” “Wiser Time” and “Thorn In My Pride.” Chris and Rich next unveiled their acoustic version of “Welcome To The Goodtimes” from the Crowes’ 1999 studio album, By Your Side. “Welcome To The Goodtimes” was played a number of times on Chris & Rich’s last Brothers Of A Feather tour in 2007. The duo went on to continue their hour-long set with more Crowes classics including “Twice As Hard,” “Soul Singing” and “She Talks To Angels.” Chris and Rich closed out the set with “Remedy” and encored with Ry Cooder’s “Boomer’s Story.”
