Billy & The Kids | Europe Seventy 2.0 With Robert Randolph

We love the creativity Grateful Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann has shown in not only starting Billy & The Kids with Reed Mathis (Tea Leaf Green), Tom Hamilton (American Babies) and Aron Magner (Disco Biscuits), but also the themes for performances. For instance, Billy & The Kids will play The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on March 27. The theme of the show is “Europe Seventy 2.0” as the band will pick up the Europe ’72 songbook, while dressing it in modern regalia.

Kreutzmann, Mathis, Hamilton and Magner will be joined by special guest Robert Randolph for this “Europe Seventy 2.0” performance at The Cap. Billy’s band aims to bring the “Europe Seventy 2.0” concept to back to its homeland later this year, kicking off where it all began, with a multi-night stand in London, England. Stay tuned for dates.

Tickets for Billy & The Kids at The Capitol Theatre go on sale Friday, February 20. Unless additional performances are added, the show marks Billy & The Kids’ Northeast debut.
