Watch Billy Strings Perform With Mariachi Band In Mexico

While best known for bluegrass and rock, guitarist Billy Strings has dipped his toes into a number of different musical styles over the years. The versatile Grammy-winning performer recently joined forces for a jam session with mariachi band Mariachi Alma de Guerrero in Mexico and shared a clip from the collaboration on his Instagram page.

The video posted by the guitarist shows him accompanying members of Mariachi Alma de Guerrero at a beautiful waterfront site outdoors in Mexico during sunset. Strings plays acoustic and adds a few lingering leads to the mix. Mariachi Alma de Guerrero are based in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo within the Mexican state of Guerrero.
