Billy Strings Joins The Wood Brothers At Ossipee Valley Music Festival

On Saturday, The Wood Brothers headlined the 2018 Ossipee Valley Music Festival in Hiram, Maine. Their set at Ossipee Valley Fairgrounds was capped by fellow fest performer Billy Strings sitting-in on a cover of a classic Allen Toussaint original.

Strings, who regularly plays acoustic guitar, brought an electric guitar to the stage as The Wood Brothers returned to perform an encore. Guitarist Oliver Wood, bassist Chris Wood, drummer Jano Rix and an electrified Strings then offered a cover of Toussaint’s 1968 release “Get Out My Life, Woman.”
