Billy Strings Among Grammy Awards 2022 Performers
The guitarist is up for two awards this Sunday, including Best Bluegrass Album.

Guitarist Billy Strings will make his highest-profile appearance yet when he performs as part of the 64th Annual Grammy Awards telecast. The ceremony will air live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on CBS this Sunday, April 3 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
Strings, Maverick City Music and Aymée Nuviolawas will play segments showcasing Sin City and shining a light on genres not typically represented on Grammy broadcasts. Brandi Carlile, Silk Sonic, John Legend, Carrie Underwood, J Balvin, Jon Batiste, Brothers Osborne, BTS, Billie Eilish, Cynthia Erivo, H.E.R., Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow, Leslie Odom Jr, Nas, Ben Platt, Olivia Rodrigo, Chris Stapleton and Rachel Zegler round out the slate of performers for Sunday’s telecast.
Billy Strings is nominated in two Grammy categories this year. The guitarist’s 2021 album, Renewal, vies for Best Bluegrass Album, while the LP’s “Love And Regret” earned a Best American Roots Performance nod. Strings won his first Grammy in 2020 for Best Bluegrass Album with Home.
