On the one year anniversary of their April 7, 2024, concert at Nashville’s American Legion Post 82, guitarists Billy Strings and Bryan Sutton released a recording of the performance as the surprise live album, Live at the Legion. Strings and Sutton also confirmed a batch of tour dates in September.

Bassist Royal Masat, who is a member of Strings’ band, will accompany Strings and Sutton on the upcoming tour, which starts with shows on September 5 and 6 at the Bluegrass Hall of Fame & Museum’s Woodward Theatre in Owensboro, Kentucky. The pickers will then set up for two shows at Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts in Boone, North Carolina on September 11 and 12.

Two nights at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium will follow on September 14 and 15. Strings and Sutton end their run together at The Signal in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on September 16.
