Billy Strings Announces Brooklyn Bowl Free Live Stream & Performs For Paste
Billy Strings and his band visited Paste’s studios at the Manhattan Center in New York City on Monday for a set that was streamed and shared on YouTube. Strings and company return to New York City for a two-night stand at Brooklyn Bowl this weekend and the first show will be featured in a free live stream.
Earlier this year, Strings released his latest studio album and first to feature his current band, Home. Billy, banjoist Billy Failing, bassist Royal Masat and mandolinist Jarrod Walker performed three songs from the LP for Paste. Up first was “Everything’s The Same” and “Taking Water.” The guitarist then chatted about his influences and more before the band concluded the set the same way Home ends, with “Freedom.”
