Guitarist Billy Strings will perform at the grand opening of the new Boston venue Roadrunner on March 15. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Friday, February 25) at 10 a.m. ET. Buy tickets for Billy Strings at Roadrunner on AXS.com.

The 3,5000-capacity Roadrunner will be operated by Bowery Boston and is located at 89 Guest Street in the Allston-Brighton neighborhood. Roadrunner takes its name from a song featured on The Modern Lovers’ 1976 self-titled debut album penned by the band’s frontman and Massachusetts native Jonathan Richman. The song “Roadrunner” includes numerous references to the Bay State.

Khruangbin will play a two-night stand at Roadrunner on March 17 and 18 following Strings’ concert. Dropkick Murphys (March 20), Bleachers (March 24 and 25), LCD Soundsystem (April 3 – 6), Big Thief (April 13) and Lucius (April 29) are among other acts set to perform at Roadrunner in the coming months.
