Billy Strings Announces Bonnaroo Farm Concert Livestream & John Mailander Guest Appearance

Billy Strings‘ show at The Bonnaroo Farm in Manchester, Tennessee will be broadcast via a Veeps livestream this Friday, May 28 starting at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Strings and his band will be joined by multi-instrumentalist John Mailander in Manchester.

Mailander is a member of Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers who is an accomplished fiddler and mandolin player that also plays a variety of additional stringed instruments. John released his latest John Mailander’s Forecast album, Look Closer, earlier this month.

Billy Strings, bassist Royal Masat, mandolinist Jarrod Walker and banjo player Billy Failing have collaborated with the Nashville-based Mailander a number of times in the past. The latest sit-in took place at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium last October.

Strings’ performance at The Bonnaroo Farm comes as part of the “Concerts On The Farm” series. Tickets to watch the livestream are on sale now here for $19.99 with the price set to increase at 12 a.m. ET on Friday. A rewatch will not be available.
