Billy Strings Covers ‘Atlantic City’ In Asbury Park: Pro-Shot Video

On November 10, Billy Strings made his debut at the legendary The Stone Pony nightclub in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The Stone Pony is best known as the “home venue” for Bruce Springsteen, so it was only fitting Billy and his band played one of The Boss’ songs.

Strings, mandolinist Jarrod Walker, banjoist Billy Failing and bassist Royal Masat covered “Atlantic City” in their first of two sets at The Pony. The band’s only prior performances of the song from Bruce’s Nebraska album had come with Greensky Bluegrass‘ Paul Hoffman. Pro-shot video featuring Billy’s version from Asbury Park has surfaced.
