Billy Strings teamed up with 13-year-old mandolinist Wyatt Ellis and many more for a pick in a Nashville hotel hallway. Ellis shared a video of the musicians performing Bill Monroe’s “Road To Columbus.”
Also in the pick at the Music City Sheraton as part of the 48th Annual SPBGMA Bluegrass Music Awards was Billy’s bandmate Jarrod Walker on mando as well as frequent collaborator fiddler Christian Ward. Additional performers included cellist Rushad Eggleston, who played Gollum at Billy’s recent Away From The Shire Lord Of The Rings-themed Halloween run, fiddler Nate Leath and many more.
