By Scott Bernstein Mar 22, 2018 • 11:10 am PDT

Three icons of the New York City jazz scene will come together for one night only to raise funds for a special cause. Le Poisson Rouge in New York City will host The Art For Progress Band featuring guitarists Nels Cline and Marc Ribot along with drummer Billy Martin on April 10.
“Once In A Lifetime” will feature The Arts For Progress Band as well as performances from Brooklyn trio Bad Faces and the Arts For Progress student band Big Sweater. The night of musical improvisation will benefit Art For Progress (AFP), a non-profit arts organization that works to provide arts education programs in New York City’s underserved public schools and most impoverished communities. Net proceeds from the show will go towards AFP’s arts education program.
Tickets are on sale now via Eventbrite.
