Billy Joel has pushed back his next eight concerts. The Piano Man announced his “current tour will be postponed for four months” in a post on social media where his team cited an undisclosed “medical condition” that led to recent surgery for the decision. Joel will now “undergo physical therapy under the supervision of his doctors” before he is slated to return to the road in July.

“While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first. I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding,” wrote Joel. Seven of the eight dates have been rescheduled, with the other listed as “TBD.”

The good news is that “Joel is expected to make a full recovery,” according to the statement. “The tour will resume at Acriscure Stadium in Pittsburgh on July 5, 2025.”
