By Andy Kahn Sep 26, 2016 • 7:35 am PDT

On Saturday, The Dean Ween Group headlined the 2016 Indian Summer Festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Guitarist and New Jersey-native Billy Hector sat-in with the group fronted by Ween guitarist Mickey “Dean Ween” Melchiondo during the performance at Anchor’s Bend.
Deaner and a lineup of bassist Dave Dreiwitz, keyboardist Glenn McClelland, guitarist Scott Rednor and drummer Ray Kubian were joined by Hector on a rendition of “Dickie Betts” which appears on the upcoming DWG record The Deaner Album. The guitarist whose resume includes performing with Buddy Guy, Bonnie Raitt, B.B. King and many others also joined a cover of Jimi Hendrix’s classic “Are You Experienced?”
