Billy Corgan Polls Fans On Smashing Pumpkins Tour Setlist

As reported, The Smashing Pumpkins will embark on an arena tour this summer. While the band had revealed the setlist will be culled from tracks found on the group’s first five LPs, today Billy Corgan gave more details and polled fans on their requests.

The lineup for Smashing Pumpkins’ Shiny & Oh So Bright Tour will feature Corgan joined by original members Jimmy Chamberlin on drums and James Iha on guitar. Jeff Schroeder will be the lineup’s third guitarist as no bassist has been named for now. Billy took to Instagram today and shared a list of proposed songs:

Not only are each and every classic from the first five Smashing Pumpkins’ albums listed, but the batch of songs ended with four covers: Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart,” Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway To Heaven” and “Space Oddity” and “Never Let Me Down” by David Bowie. Fans are urged to share a screenshot on Instagram indicating what song(s) they would like to see added and to tag the members of the band, the group’s official Instagram account and use hashtags #SmashingPumpkins & #SP2018.
