By Andy Kahn Apr 6, 2015 • 2:59 pm PDT

Bill Kreutzmann has announced a surprise show this Wednesday, April 8 at the Mystic Theatre in Petaluma, California. The single performance, dubbed A Night Of Voodoo, features Kreutzmann behind the kit with bassist Dave Schools, guitarists Steve Kimock and Dan (“Lebo”) Lebowitz and keyboardist Jeff Chimenti. The one-night-only lineup is a preview of sorts of the Voodoo Dead group, which will debut during the second weekend of Jazz Fest with Keller Williams in place of Lebo. The Grateful Dead drummer hinted at something secretive with a mysterious tweet earlier today before making the show taking place in two days official.
Tickets are available at the Mystic Theatre box office sans service charges beginning immediately at 4:20 p.m. today, Monday, April 6. The general public on-sale begins tomorrow morning through the Mystic Theatre website.
