Big Something announced phase one of their Escape From The Living Room virtual tour. The North Carolina-based band will perform from their recording studio July 31 and August 8, 16 and 22 across a number of platforms including nugs.tv, Facebook and right here on JamBase’s Livestreams Calendar.
The livestream concerts will mark the first time Big Something has performed together since February. Phase one of the Escape From The Living Room virtual tour — which will feature an HD multi-cam quality feed — culminates in the release of Big Something’s sixth studio album, Escape. Frontman Nick MacDaniels detailed the virtual tour in a statement.

This has been the longest we’ve gone without playing as a band in our entire 10 years together. For a year that started with shows at Panic en la Playa followed by our most successful tour ever, it’s been pretty crazy shutting everything down so suddenly and then re-evaluating what to do next. Now that we’ve had some time to catch our breath and reflect, we’re all beyond excited to start making music together again and this platform just feels right. We’ll be at home in our studio where we can really capture all this pent up creative energy in the highest quality possible and anyone who wants to tune in is welcome. No tickets required and no risk of bringing a live audience together before the time is right. We’ve got a ton of cool stuff planned and we’re just really excited to have some fun with this concept and try to make the most of the situation.
