Big Head Todd Mohr Leads The String Cheese Incident On Eric Clapton Cover In 2001

In a trend we love to see, The String Cheese Incident has been opening the vault to share archival video in recent months. The latest clip finds Todd Mohr of Big Head Todd & The Monsters leading SCI through their first and only cover of “Forever Man” by Eric Clapton.

Mohr joined his fellow Coloradans 15 years ago today at the Fox Theatre in Boulder, where he also sat-in on a cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Sweet Virginia” and SCI original “Lost.” The Clapton cover climaxes with a duel between Billy Nershi and Todd Mohr. The String Cheese Incident’s performance at the intimate hometown venue was a free show announced just one week prior. Tickets were distributed through a lottery and via local radio station KBCO. SCI played Red Rocks a few weeks later.
